amazarashi × Manga "Chi." 2nd round letter project "Chi." New song "Cassiopia Moorings" will be released at the same time as the release of the final volume

2022.06.27

"Cassiopeia Moorings" is the second installment of the "Common Language" correspondence project with the manga "Chi. - About Earth's Movements" and will be released on June 30th, the release date of the final volume of "Chi." Did.

This song was created with the idea that amazarashi would create the work with his belief in the power it has, and then hand it over, assuming that what Hiromu Akita had in common with amazarashi was "pain," which he felt after reading "Chi." It will be a song. The jacket photo released this time is an illustration drawn by Mr. Uotoyo, the author of ``Chi.'', inspired by ``Cassiopeia Moorings''.

In addition, the music video for the new song "Cassiopia Moorings" is scheduled to be released on June 30th, the release date.

■ amazarashi Hiromu Akita comment

What was the meaning behind the lyrics for Cassiopeia Mooring's music video, or how did you interpret "chi."? I thought it would be impossible to create a theme song for this epic story.

I thought I had completely lost. I interpreted the theme as ``acting according to your beliefs and passing them on,'' but I also felt that this was also the writer's own beliefs.

The determination and tenacity to create. I was shown the manuscript for the final volume before it was released, and I could feel it even when I saw the lines that had been revised. And I realized that these were similar to my own creative struggles. So I decided to write a song about that.

blood. I hypothesized that what the main characters, Mr. Uotoyo, and I have in common is ``pain.''

Isn't that the only thing we can understand? I thought.

amazarashi has some overseas fans, and I often feel that even though we don't speak the same language, we understand each other through "pain." blood. is a historical story, but I think the pain will transcend time.

I came up with the lyrics, ``If most things in this world are traces of the blood of those who have achieved something,'' because Uotoyo said something like that in an interview.

I created it with the idea of taking what Mr. Uotoyo has accomplished, creating it based on my beliefs, and then handing it over to him.
